Police log Wausau Fraud, a 21-year-old Wausau man reported May 31 his mother ordered phone and electric service in his name without his permission, and ran up bills in excess of $1,300, from March 1994 to February 1995, at her home i in the 600 block of 56th Street.

Retail theft, A 16-year-old Wausau boy was cited for juvenile retail theft after an employee at Fleet Farm, 1811 Badger saw him place several fishing lures in his jacket June 3 and attempt to leave the store. Driving without a license, a 38- year-old Wausau man was cited for driving without a valid license, second offense, June 5 after a traffic stop near Third Avenue and Norton Street. Merrill Burglary, A Merrill man, age unknown, was apprehended for trying to sell a stolen vacuum cleaner at 11:39 a.m. Thursday in Wausau. The vacuum, valued at $464, was one of five stolen from Northern Aire, 101 Scott Merrill, earlier in the day.

The total value of the stolen machines was $3,300. One of the vacuums was valued at $1,700. Merrill woman reported two cans of soda were thrown through the picture window of her home in the 500 block of Cleveland Street at about 11 p.m. Thursday. The cans destroyed the window, valued at over $200, and sprayed soda damaged the living room ceiling, couch and other furniture.

23, 1971, in Wausau, the son of Leslie Jr. (Marion) Schwartz, Schofield, and the late Patricia Ann (Poverski) David Schwartz. Schwartz David was a 1990 graduate of D.C. Everest High School, Schofield, where he was a member of their crosscountry ski club. He had been a Rib Mountain Ski instructor.

He enjoyed softball, volleyball, rollerblading and downhill skiing. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Leslie Jr. and Marion Schwartz, Schofield; two brothers, Patrick (Sheila) Schwartz, Wausau, and Michael Schwartz, Schofield; two sisters, Debbie (Philip) Plautz, Schofield, and Karen (Joseph) Theiler, Wausau; two nieces, Mackenzie and Jessica Theiler; one nephew, Nathan Plautz; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Schwartz in 1985. David was a friend to many.

Second Merrill, died Thursday, June 8, 1995, at her home. She was born May 30, 1895, in Merrill, the daughter of the late Algris and Lillian (Poitras) Bouchard. She married Henry C. "Heine" Rostal on April 20, 1918, in Merrill. He preceded her in death on Dec.

15, 1979, in Merrill. Hazel was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Survivors include one Phyllis J.

(Philip) Sheil, Merrill; one son, Gordon C. (Joan) Rostal, Merrill; three grandchildren, Michael Sheil, Manitowoc, Scott Sheil, Burnsville, and Mary Jo Rostal, Merrill; nine greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Yvonne Howe, Merrill. She was preceded in death by one greatgrandson. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 12, 1995, at St.

Potack, 43, of N1112 Shore Marinette, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 7, 1995, at his home. He was born August 16, 1951, in Hayward. He married Kristine C. Seehafer on July 20, 1985. She survives.

He was a graduate of Mellen High School. He was a 1973 graduate of Marquette University and completed, his law degree at Marquette University Law School. He was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 1976, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in July, 1980. In 1985, he was admitted to the Michigan Bar.

For the past 10 years, he was a practicing attorney with law offices in Menominee. Gene was a member of the Wisconsin and Michigan Bar Associations, the Marinette County Bar Association, Marinette Elks Lodge and Yacht Club. Survivors besides his wife, Kristine, include two sons, Ira John Potack, Brookfield, and Jack Daniel Potack, at home; two daughters, Regina Christine Potack, Brookfield, and Lily Adelina Potack, at home; his mother, Sirella Krause; four brothers, Lester, Clark, David and Myron; and three sisters, Gwen, Patricia and Carol. Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 1995, at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette. The Rev.

Paul E. Holmstrom will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

An Elk's visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Julia A. Clark Julia A. Clark, 83, a former Birnamwood resident, died Friday, June 9, 1995, at Homme Home for the Aging, Wittenberg.

She was born Sept. 23, 1911, in Mott, N.D., the daughter of the late Fred and Clara (Wegner) Pietz. She married Earl D. "Hap" Clark on Jan. 25, 1930, in Wausau.

He preceded her in death on March 11, 1975. Julia and her husband had operated a dairy farm in the township of Norrie from 1936 to 1970, when they retired and moved to Birnamwood. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Shirley) Clark, and Wayne (Christie) Clark, all of Birnamwood, and Dale (Barbara) Clark, Wausau; four daughters, Beverly (Harold) Tarras, Eau Claire, Virginia (Glenn) Breyer, Birnamwood, Janet (Melvin) Carlson, Marshfield, and Vickie (Richard) Schwalbach, Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, Addie Schoenhofen, and Nellie (Harris) Kessen, all of Birnamwood, and Agnes Onesti, Wittenberg; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret, Grace, Luella; and five brothers, Norman, August, Rueben, George and Harry. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m.
