Saline County to consider bids for jail cameras (2024)

The Saline County Commission will consider bids for jail cameras and bids for a Jail Air Conditioning Chiller System during a meeting beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday in Room 107 of the City-County Building.

The commission will also consider whether to appoint Chi Woodrich to the Saline County Planning Commission. In his application, Woodrich said he has experience with planning and zoning issues because he is a land owner, a former land auctioneer, and a former real estate agent.

DVACK Youth Advocate Mentor Courtney Train will read a proclamation declaring June 2019 as Elder Abuse Awareness Month. Jamie Gideon, Kansas Director of Public Policy at the Alzheimer’s Association, will read a proclamation declaring June 2019 as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.

County Administrator Andrew Manly will provide his weekly update during a study session in Room 107B immediately following the public forum.
