Kirk was born in Portage, Wisconsin to the late Richard and Alma Parker. He worked for many years in banking in IT until his retirement. He had a love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter of ducks, turkey and deer. He also enjoyed fishing. Kirk was a lifetime sponsor with Ducks Unlimited and the NWTF.
