As our new Senior HR Business Partner, you will be part of an exciting time as we mature the support organisation. You will partner with business and will ensure the success of business strategy while implementing the overall HR strategy. You will work in a team of other HR Business Partners, reporting into a regional HR Director and have an opportunity to spar with peers and work closely with other HR professionals. You will be based in Gurgaon. You will be working in an open and horizontal environment where your point of view is welcomed and where you can make a difference to the growth of HR and the Company. Involvement in various exciting Business and HR projects will be part of the role and you will have the chance to collaborate with colleagues all around the world.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Provides HR expertise and service that support clients in achieving their goals and objectives by becoming a trusted partner
  • Is engaged, aware and involved with external HR communities, trends and keeps up to date with HR developments
  • Develops collaborative relationships with senior management, people managers and employees in assigned client groups such as coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving
  • Coaches and counsel’s managers on effective management/supervisory skills that inspire high performing employees
  • Partners with people managers and recruiters to attract and retain a diverse, engaged workforce
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Consults with managers, supervisors and employees to resolve employee relations issues involving disputes, poor performance, inappropriate behaviour and policy violation
  • Monitors employee engagement and works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., annual performance management, salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change)
  • Monitors adherence to HR policies and consults with management on policy guidance and interpretation; may assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Compiles reports and conducts analysis from HRIS and other data resources, as needed
  • Navigates complex matrix organisation and stakeholders and ensures stakeholder consultation, information and governance

  • BA or Masters in HR or Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources
  • Solid background of offshoring environment
  • Should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a generalist/HRBP
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, leadership skills
  • Professional English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Proven ability to effectively present to all levels and cross-functionally within the organization
